((/derp Louis))

Apparently Louis has his own car (or a city bus pass, or he walked, who knows), because he showed up: albeit, late and farther away from everyone else. His face is dusted with a faint blush from the anxiety of being in public and with so many people as he shoves his hands in his U of I jacket pockets and keeps his head down, eyes locked on his feet, avoiding eye contact.

"What?" I stare straight at the girl who is looking me up and down. "I am not a zoo animal, but if you would like to stand there gawking and not have the courtesy to introduce yourself, go ahead, but please finish as soon as you are able." I fiddled with the zipper on my army jacket, holding her in my dark gaze.

I saw that one of them had noticed me. I walk over to them. "Can I help you with something?" I ask as though I weren't the one watching them first.

My eyes shot up to the boys, only to find him looking strait into them. They made me feel week but with difficulty, my face remained calm. "I apologize, my name is Sara. I don't suppose I will have the pleasure of learning yours." I directed every word at him like a dagger.

"I'm Nick by the way," I say trying to start a conversation. "Nick Wylder. I haven't been in town long," I tell her. "Are you guys... um," I couldn't think of a way to word this without being obvious.

Occ: Callie was talking to Dev about the name thing just to let u know...... Sorry if I confused you!

}oh dear i guess we are all just confusing each other. sorry about that, there's two different groups, the one that Nick was watching and one that was in Timothy's Toy Store. 2chocolate2 and I were roleplaying with Dev (mine) and Callie (chocolate's) and we are all just roleplaying around each other. It's a big jumbled mess.

I smile and run a hand through my messy hair. "Dev Vil," I wink at her. "Although I prefer Zoo Animal, actually."

((-saw Kiwi's post and thought 'Cruella Dev-Vil--wait, WHAT?'-))

All the other Fallen were in Timothy's Toy Store, so Louis tried to avoid it, instead sneaking into a Yankee Candle to try to keep out of the crowds. Fortunately, the overpowering smell of apple pie and Americanism in the store kept most people, save the bravest of housewives, out. He busied himself looking over a key lime pie scented box candle, trying to ignore the headache that was forming between his eyes.

} Ya so, in the Timothy Toy Store group there is: Dev, Callie, Rocket, Junie, and Roxy. In the other group there is: Cori, Diggs, Smarts, Sam, Olive, (Lexus?), Maya, and then Lois who is in a candle shop somewhere. I think that's everyone.

In the candle shop I can't help thinking ugh is this how Clarie's smelled like then I spot a boy he was just like me or us I could feel it.

There are two too many people in the candle shop (there's only three here, actually) for Louis's liking, but the other store are even more crowded, so he has to take the lesser of two evils. He tries to avoid the cashier's eyes: not because she's one of Them, but more because she's giving him odd looks for being a giant, redhead bodybuilder in a candle store looking at scents like 'Fragrant Lavender' and 'Sweet Pea'. What is a sweet pea, anyway? Louis wonders.

However, the cashier isn't the only person looking at him. He turns his back on the girl behind the counter only to glimpse a younger girl staring him down. Louis's face reddens and he turns, staring intently at the bargain candles in the corner, trying to be as inconspicuous as a large man in a candle store can be.

I walk up to the giant thinking what is he doing in here I tell him "hi"

Louis jumped, dropping the candle he was holding on his feet. He glanced back at the girl and then busied himself picking up the candle, red up to the ears. Of course, he didn't even try to talk to her, just get away from her.

Nice one Callie. I think to myself, as the sharply talks to Dev. Unconciously, I step infront of Junie, as if blocking her from seeing Dev would protect her from all the evils of the world.

Candle shop? I ask anyone, following Lexus into the shop thinking it was a little further from Timothy's but not far enough.

I find the door that I had planned to break into, and slip the bobby pins out of my hair. I unfold one, and insert it into the lock, tweaking it a little this way and that waiting for a click. I hear it, and smirk. Then I pull open the door, and sneak in before an authority showed up. I briskly walk to the back, and find the scooters. Bingo. I hop on to one of them, and roll it out to the door, then walk back to gather up the others.

I glance around, seeing that several of us have decided to go in a candle shop for no reason in particular. They could try and drag me in there, but from here I could smell the fumes and they did not smell good. So I busy myself with getting a gumball. I pop it in my mouth and chew slowly, scoping out the area. That was when I saw a flash of Diggs' hair a little ways away. And what did she have? I could have screamed in joy but then people would have thought I was more nutty than I already was. I glance around furtively. No one else was watching me. Inside, I give a little cry of glee and sprint towards Diggs.

I can feel the escalating tension, and can't handle it. "All right!" I exclaim, stepping out from behind Rocket. "Goodbye, Mr. Shadow. We're leaving now, Mr. Shadow. Sorry, but we really have to go!" I grab Rocket and Roxy's hands and then look at the other girl, Cal-something. Hopefully she would follow us, because I didn't have any more hands. I resort to my winy voice. "Come on!" I pull against them. "We have to go!"

Yeah, you heard her. We gotta go. I tell Dev smirking, and rush out the toy store door quickly. Let's um, move on to a different store. I mutter under my breath hoping that Roxy wouldn't mind if I took control of things for a few minutes.

Oh look at this one! I cry out happily like a little girl. I grab up a cupcake frosting scented candle, and sniff it gleefully. Another label catches my eye, and I drop the cupcake one, and rush over to that one. Cucumber Melon, oh. No, I once had a lotion that was Cucumber Melon, and I got sick from the smell. I look at the next candle and pick it up. I take a deep whiff, and smell the nice comforting smell of Fresh Linen. I catch a flash of Smarts running out of my veiw, and sigh. I really really hoped we wouldn't have to have a talk. Just let my smell my candles in peace!

I finish rolling out the last scooter, and smirk at Smarts who was rushing at me. Look at this! I exlaim in a hushed whisper. Take this one, and I'll bring this to Olive. Er, Ella. I tell her shoving a scooter towards her. I hop on mine, and start doing little donuts around her. This would be great.

I rush into the candle store and catch up to Lexus. "Hi. Well um hey. Do you- I mean what- well hi." I mumbled, as I tried unsuccessfully to get something other then nonsense to come out of my mouth.

Scooters! Sweet! I slip into the door quietly and smirk at Diggs and Smarts. "This is going to be aaawwwwsome!"

I followed Junie and Rocket out of the store, giving one last glare at Dev over my shoulder.

I zoom forward, and let out a jubilant whoop; blowing a huge bubble. "Let the fiesta begin!" I lean forward, anticipating the feeling of speeding across the polished floors.

Junie's hand grips mine. I look down at her desperate face and let her lead us out into the main hallway.

"Wait for me!" I reply, catching up to them. "We have a ton of shopping to do, don't we! Where shall we go first? The first item on my holiday gift list is a large quantity of black polo shirts!" I could have laughed out loud; the looks on their faces. They weren't getting rid of me that easy.

"Well, I guess he can come," I say loudly. "But listen, Mr. Shadow. You have to be nice, not mean. And you have to listen to them, I pointed at Roxy and Rocket, "Cause' they're the leaders and you have to listen to them because if you don't you can't come with us. Is that clear?" I put my hands on my hips like I've seen the older girls do when they're angry.

I continued to follow the group closely into a candle store, looking at their reflections in the glass containers of the candles. I still couldn't figure out why they seemed so familiar to me.

Too many people. Way too many people. If this were a big store like Macy's Louis might be able to handle this, but a little place like Yankee Candle...? Too small. He began to get nervous (on top of the anxiety he was experiencing from being watched) and tried to make himself invisible between the candles.

I was having so much fun I didn't notice the guy peering into the candle place until the last moment. "Aiiiii!" I swerve and the scooter tips, throwing me to the ground. I immediately jump up and right it. "Er, sorry."

I swirl around in circles right behind Smarts for a while, doing loops and twists across the tile suprised that the authouritys hadnt been notified yet.

I sigh, and keep walking ignoring Dev.
