Fallen and confused

I wander through the mall, deciding to try to socialize today instead of getting sucked into my book. I see a girl, who looked like she was shimmering, just a little bit. The usual look of shock was on her face that you see on a newly fallen star. She runs to the nearest bathroom, and I watched her with my oddly purple eyes for a few moments, before I decide to follow her. I walk into the bathroom, looking around and acting nonchalant. I peek under the stalls, and all of them are empty except the one on the end, where I see the body of the girl. I feel foolish, but slide under the stall door anyway. She had fainted. I shake her, in feebly hopes she would wake up, but I doubted it would work. Hey. I say to her. Nothing. I sigh, and know that I wouldnt be strong enough to lift her, so I slump down the wall next to her, and wait.

I looked at the hand suspiciously. " Yes I'm fine I just, well, I just didnt have enough to eat today that's all" I stammered. I took her hand and stood up in an effort to look normal.

I take a huge bite out of my burrito and turn around. "Truth, you should really try this-" I stop. Digs was gone. I tensed and felt fury building in my chest. If they took her...I start jogging. My first idea was the bathroom, so I ducked in there. "Truth?" I called out.

"Whos that" I hissed looking around. "do you know her?" was this all a trap? I braced myself to run.
Hello

I push open the stall door and find Truth and a girl. I stare at the girl without saying anything for a moment. Then my face breaks into a grin and I hold my hand up for a high five. "Truth! You found one!" Then my face gets serious. "Now let's try and get her back to the hideout without killing us all." Right after I said those words the bathroom door creaked open again. I freeze and draw a finger across my throat.

"Hmm," says the smooth, ice cold voice. "None of you are going anywhere."

[color=white]I lurched forward as the scooter took off at alarming speed, with a girl driving who has no experience. "Scared?" the one not driving asked. I was about to answer when the girl driving shouted that the brakes were jammed. Well that's just great. I thought back to the question "scared?" I rolled my eyes "no I'm perfectly calm" I thought sarcastically "I'm just on the back of a scooter going a hundred mph with two freak strangers plummeting to my certain death."
"We're going to have to jump" one of the girls shouted. I nodded my head and braced myself.

I held on to the girls hand tightly. I bent my legs and soon I was soaring through the air. I look over to make sure the other two were ok. They looked fine but the I did a double take. Were..were they glowing? Of course not, the idea was ridiculuos, it must just be a trick of light. But I looked again and sure enough, still glowing. And they also seemed to be floating, or falling slower than me. I observed all of this in a spilt second before I crashed into the ground, hard.
