His hand is warm, and large. Holding my small one, it seems like my hand would crush. Every few seconds, I just have to smile. When I first landed I thought that I would be working and not teasing my own fantasies, but this was great. I walk closer to him, so our bodies are brushing up against each other. How have you been? I ask, trying to fill the silence that wasnt really uncomfortable, but it seemed right to talk.

I shrug. "Bored. My relatives...keep a close watch on me. It's hard to get away these days." I shudder slightly. "You will never be able to imagine how cold it is there. It's not cold if you haven't experienced warmth, but once you have...."

You mean the fortress? It already sounded awful, and he hadn't even gone into details. He was shut off from the world, and hurting. It was awful.

I touch his cheek softly. I'm sorry. I whisper, suddenly finding it hard to talk or even breath being this close to him.

Gently, I wrap my arm around her and rest my face in her hair, breathing in the smell of...how could I describe it? Warmth, light, love. That's what she smelled like.

What was I doing? He would soon just desert me, leaving me weak and vulnerable. He would break my heart someday; unless I broke his first... But if he broke mine, I would be susectable to his family. Who knows, I may be so crushed I might even turn my self over to them voluntarily. So, I came again to the question. What was I doing?

I look up at the sky. "What are we going to do?" Somehow, it always came to this. What were we going to do? We were the oddballs of our generation, stuck between Them and Stars.

I smile faintly, could he read my mind? I didn't want to think about what would happen if someone found out, I didn't want to think past this moment. I bury my face in his shirt, and mumble something incoherent.

I sensed that she didn't want to talk about it. For a moment, I felt like protesting. We needed to talk about it, because what might happen if someone found out? We'd be in danger, and we needed to figure out how we weren't going to be in danger anymore. So we needed to talk about it. We did- I stopped thinking. What was I thinking. We might as well enjoy the time we have left together. I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the slide.

"C'mon," I said, smiling teasingly. The slide was tiny, meant for little kids. But I was convinced we could do it. I started up the climbing wall towards the top of the slide. When I got to the top, I had to pull myself on my stomach through the tiny little tunnel. And finally I was at the top. I stared down at her. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

Once she is behind me I push off, flying down the twists until (ow) I hit a corner and stop. "I'm stuck," I state. I could see light at the end of the tunnel, but this slide was made for little kids and not teenagers. Yes, indeed I was wedged in the slide. I felt like laughing, but I felt panic building inside my chest. "No seriously, I am stuck." I try craning my head around so I can look at her, and then I realize something that has nothing to do with anything. "You never told me your name."

I push myself down the slide behind him, and tumble into his back. I wrap my arms around his sturdy shoulders. Now we are both stuck. I'm your Princess. I tell him really hoping he wouldn't ask for my real name. Maybe he could just call me Princess all the time, that would be nice.

I stared at her straight in the eye. "I need to know." My voice was soft, but had an edge of finality.

I sigh. The Truth? My name is.... Man I hated doing this. I truly hated it, but it had to be done. Wait, no it didn't, he wasn't going to hurt me. He had promised. My name is Dignity. I tell him, grinning, and kiss his cheek. I giggle, we were truly stuck.

That was when I stiffened. I felt it. There was a shadow nearby. "Dignity," I said, her name flowing easily off my tongue. "One of my kind-" But that was all I could say because footsteps were nearing. I placed a finger to my lips and waited.

What... I trail off, and decide I better shut it. I slide closer to him, and wrap my arms around his neck gently. I place my head on his shoulder. Attack me. I murmur thinking that if it looked like he was trying to take me down then nothing would seem suspicious.

"Well, at least we're hidden inside of the slide," I hissed. "But I will if you want me to," I said naughtily.
