Date?

%Ok, well, I have decided because of Diggs love for cars she will have a job at Randy's and I can always write up the interview later and if any one has an objection to me roleplaying her working here before I post the interview, I can edit.

I slid under the car, and tweak the wrench a little on a bolt. Finally it comes loose, and lands in my hand. I wheel out from under the car, and rummage around in a drawer. Size, 18? I ask myself quietly under my breath trying to read the smudged digits on the edge of the bolt. I grab a size 18, and line it up with the old bolt. Yep, it fits. Wiping my greasy fingers on the front of my baggy overalls, and pushing the strap back over my shoulder, I grab my wrench up again, twirling it in my fingers like a baton twirler, and push myself under the car again. I start wedging the wrench around trying to dislodge the main piece of the problem so I could replace it, and screw it back in with shiny new bolts. Just dance, it'll be ok... I mutter under my breath singing along with the static-y radio. I wish it was that easy, but since not all of us got drunk, like a super star, to drown our problems and wash our worries down the drain, it wasn't that simple. I think to myself bitterly. If life were that easy, and all we had to do was dance, Dev and I could be together and we wouldn't have to hide...

%Kiwi!? WHERE ARE YOU!!! YOU TOLD ME YOU WOULD MEET ME HERE. AHHH!!! It's gonna be all over the headlines: FOUNDER OF A FAMOUS FORUM; THE FALLEN, HAS MYSTERIOUSLY DROPPED OF THE FACE OF THE EARTH. Is she a star herself? Has she gotten a calling to home? Will she ever come back to make the life of the forum fun, and be our beloved admin again? The questions the public will ask....

I slide out, dropping my wrench. I come out, and kiss his cheek lightly. Naw, he's on his lifetime of a break. How'd you know I'd be here? I ask grinning. He came! He found me! My heart was pounding, and my cheeks flushed.

I smile, cocking my head slightly. "I only found you after I searched the entire city." I brush a strand of her hair back, and tuck it gently behind her ear. "So how is life?"

You'd search the whole damn city for me? I ask stunned. I wasn't near that important.

My purple eyes get huge. No...it's...great. Just, um, insane. I say swiveling myself up to sitting position, and grin at him. Man, he was so hansome.

I flush. Yeah. Sorta. I mutter thinking he would totally judge me for liking cars the way I did.

She seems uncertain, so I immediately wonder if I did something wrong. "That is really cool. I've always wanted to learn more about how stuff works," I admit.

I laugh, not taking my eyes from her face. She was so beautiful. "Do you..." I trail off, then try again. "Do you want to go out with me this Saturday? I don't know where but.." I am immediately fearful that she will say no. What if she doesn't like me at all?

My heart feels like a bird slamming into the bamboo bars of its cage. Red, and fluttering. My heart is just like a bird, red and fluttering hopelessly. I had to calm myself, I had to be cool about this. Deep breath. Sure. I say but inside I was screaming, YES YES YES!

My eyes light up. "Great!" I exclaim in a moment of happiness. She said yes!

When do you wanna meet? I ask him wishing that we were normal human kids and he could actually pick me up. Wouldn't that be nice? I snort at the thought, and get up, dusting off my butt. I get a note pad, and scribble a quick note to my boss telling him I had gotten a really bad cough, and felt queasy, so had to take the afternoon off. I rip it off, and take a piece of tape, pasting it on Randy's office door. I wash my hands of the grease they are caked with, and gather my back pack. Let's go some where, like, the park. I suggest.
