I sift through old tires, and a few pieces of random trash. What was I even looking for? I didnt know, just something to help out the Fallen, since it seemed likeno one was falling, no one for me to collect.

I hear a crunch of garbage behind me, and spin around. I grab a sharp rusty soda can, and rip it in half creating a formmidable weapon.

The girl who had so nicely snuck up on my, screams. Watch it. I say to her bad language, smiling, because I had a problem with my words too. I drop the can, and dust my hands off. She had a shinny glint to her hair, and it made me think she was a fallen. She might be....

No, protecting myself from freaks with blue hair is one of my instincts. I say sassily, but a smile tugging the corners of my mouth and shinning in my eyes.

That. I tell her nodding to the car. And that. I say sweeping my hand to show a large array of old cars. And your self? I ask her, walking over to the bug she had just kicked.

I chuckle. No. My 5th car. She's gonna be a beauty if I can get a few new pieces along with the old; it'll look just like a collage. I sigh and smile. So, you like to run? I ask her glancing at ther sweaty body, and tennis shoes.

I snort. I can tell. Yeah, I don't run, I skate. I tell her, climbing inside the bug, and seeing what could be salvagable.

Ya know a thing or two about cars? I ask her, climbing out and checking under the engine.

I nod. Yeah, sorta. I tell her thinking she would never understand the beauty of mechanics.

Dude! I say cracking up wildly. I was a spay paint fanatic. It made life so much easier.

I take the can from her like I was handling a precious jewel. Oh yeah baby! I say happily, uncapping the bottle, and spraying it. Then I abruptly stop. Only a small dot of green is on the hood. I had to wait to get it out of here before I went paint crazy. I had decided this girl was already my friend, fallen or not. C'mon, lets go get my truck and get this thing outta here. I tell her figuring I could always find out if she was a star or not on the ride.

I walk out of the junk yard, and head to a small patch of trees. Its always good to hide a valuable item, I had decided. I pull back a few branches, to reveal a monster truck. The cab of the truck only held three people, and the back was large, and had a few buckets of purple paint. Not the same a spray paint. I hop in and stick a key in the ignition. I fire up the car, and lovingly pat the dashboard. Get in, I wont crash. I tell her laughing.

I snort as I back the truck up. I wish. I just have been at the same job for a really long time. And other odd jobs like lawn mowing, but you barely make anything doing that. He's my special treat to myself. I pull the car smoothly onto the gravelly road, and drive it through the gates. I turn it around so the back is facing the beat up bug, and get out. I grab a chain, and hook it to the back of the truck to the bumper of the bug. Then I get back in and pull forward a slight little bit just to dislodge the car from the rest of the junk around it. I put my hands on my hips and look at how high the back of the truck was to the ground and the car I was trying to take home. How the hell are we gonna get this in the back? I ask the girl, hoping she would have an idea.
