The Romantical (and illegal) Ballad of Cori and Louis

His feet were draped over the arm of the couch and his head was draped over the other side: Louis, being as tall as he was, took up the entire couch effectively, which was fine because the only thing on TV was rugby. Anyone who wanted to sit on the couch would have to sit on his stomach, which would likely not hurt but only bother the giant: however, he wasn't worried about being sat on anytime soon, so he didn't bother leaving any room on the sofa. The game was actually quite boring: his team was winning by quite a bit to almost no resistance, and he was beginning to nod off to sleep.

Wearing a pair of dark skinny jeans, and fur lined boots, Cori wanders the Hideout aimlessly. In her jacket pocket was the note. She had opened and closed it so many times, the creases were worn, and tearing in places. Even the outside of the paper was velvety and soft. Smiling and looking down at her feet, Cori shuffles into the living room, and looks up to see legs dangling off the edge of the couch. She blushes, as she notices the red hair. Cori comes over to the couch, and leans over the edge of it. Hi. She says softly. What would Louis think? What Cori really wanted was for her lovely giant to be jealous slightly, and take her to the dance instead. But of course, she was just a teenage girl and they always want to feel like they are wanted by more than one... Cori comes around the couch, and lightly sits on his stomach, blushing like crazy.

The voice of someone brought him back to earth, and the weight on his stomach told him who it was. There were only about two people brave enough to sit on Louis, and it certainly didn't feel or sound like Rocket. He opened his eyes slowly and glanced across his chest at the small girl. His own face had already taken on a blush from the interaction, however minimal, with another human, but seeing Cori with a blush on her own face darkened his own. "Mmh," he grumbled.

Cori smiles, and starts to trace the slightly sticky rubbery design on Louis' shirt. She looks up at the televison, and even though she could see the score, she asked which team was winning anyway.

Oh god. oh god. This was getting a little bit awkward, but Louis tried to be calm about it. "Edinburgh," he mumbled, glancing once more back down at her finger along his chest. His face darkened to almost the color of his hair.

Your team? She asks. She tries to smile. And fails. Even though she wanted to go with the hunky senior that had asked her, she still knew there was something there for Louis. Did he like her too? Do you want me to get off? She asks suddenly feeling uncomfortable.

He shakes his head and drops back down into his ultra-relaxed position, glancing at the screen. Edinburgh wasn't his team, but it was better than rooting for Kent. The farther north, the better. After a long and admittedly awkward silence, he glances once more at the girl on his belly and clears his throat. "So... there a reason you're sittin' on me?" he asks softly.

Cori sighs, and closes her eyes for a moment. She gets off, because she feels it would be wrong to break suck awful news to one as such was her news while taking advantage of their stomach. Cori sits on the ground next to the couch, and leans her back against the side. I got asked to the prom. She finally states after a while of watching a bunch of tiny men in colorful uniforms run up and down a feild after a ball.

In the back of his mind, something growled in annoyance. Who was the (undoubtedly skinny, wimpy-looking, bottom-feeder) kid who had asked her? But in the front of his mind he knew there wasn't much he could do about it. "Hm." Louis mumbled in response, staring up at the ceiling to avoid her gaze.

I think I'm going to go with him. Cori says a few minutes later. As she speaks, she feels that all she really wants is for Louis to protest someone else taking her, and tell her he would escort her there, and all that... Do you mind? She asks softly feeling guiltier by the second.

Louis shrugged a shoulder, pretending to be more interested in the game. Really, this game wasn't all that interesting anymore. A billion questions spiraled in his mind: who did this kid think he was, where could he beat him to a pulp at, why would Cori try to go to prom with him.... he didn't ask any of them, however. He just tapped his finger against her shin as he kept an eye on the game.
