Hiiii, I was referred here by MonsterTwin. Hopefully my character will suffice!

Name: Duncan Steele
Alias: Danny
Age: 17
Birthday: July 6th
Half Birthday: January 3rd
Grade: Does not attend school, should be in 12th grade.
Years at the Hideout: Barely a week or so into arrival.
Parent Star, or Parent Planet: Gamma Draconis in the constellation Draco
Appearance:

He's tall, but not huge. Maybe about 6'2" or so. Very thin, boyishly shaped body that lacks any sort of curve. He is very skinny, very pale, and very smooth complected. His skin is an almost unhealthy porcelain tone. His natural hair color is a light blonde, but he enjoys dying it in different shades. It is currently blue. When unstyled, his hair falls to about shoulder-blade length and his bangs almost completely cover his eyes. His eyes are heavy lidded, darkly lashed, and have an almost lazy quality to them. They appear to be black in color, but are just very, very dark blue. His clothing never typically matches, preferring to wear layers involving sweater vests or collared shirts, and he typically wears cargo pants or jeans that list on the tight side. He always wears Velcro shoes.

Personality:

Not the brightest star in the sky. I mean that in both senses, both literally, and alluding to the fact that he's not incredibly intelligent. He has a problem with authority and refuses to attend school, so he has very low math and grammatical skills. He is quick-witted, poorly mannered, and has quite a lot of common sense, which is probably how he has managed to survive all this time. He has a natural talent for mechanics and is kind of MacGuyver-esque when it comes to tinkering with objects. He enjoys Rube Goldberg machines and how they work, and, though he does not understand the physical or mathematical aspects of them, he enjoys making them as best as he can. He loves reptiles and quite desires one as a pet. He speaks in somewhat broken sentences that are poorly constructed and seems to have an affinity for run-on sentences.

He hates sweets, which is odd, because it always seems as though he is hopped up on sugar of some kind. He's not very well-to-do and enjoys getting messy, though he's very lackluster in his ability to help people. He's borderline narcissistic and heartily enjoys playing with his hair or adjusting his appearance.

Flaw: Brutal honesty, narcissism, very easily annoyed by dumb questions or questions with obvious answers, which he tends to have a very snarky answer for.

*Other: He is allergic to shellfish and he cannot tie his shoes, hence the Velcro.
