And he's alone

Which really isn't surprising. He's probably been in here all morning, lifting weights and doing clap push-ups, completely isolated. What else did you expect from this guy? Wait... who IS he? Did he ever tell you his name? No... does he even talk? Because nobody's really heard him.

Heck, he doesn't remember what his own voice sounds like. It's an alien thing, and when he uses it anymore it's a faint squeak for minutes (if he even talks long enough) before it sounds like it fits this huge, muscular man.

Louis's (was that his name? Louis?) breathing is completely in time with the super-crunches he's doing. He doesn't look like he wants to be disturbed right now.

Louis snapped to a sitting position from his super-crunches and glanced quickly at Rocket, avoiding eye contact, then looked off to a wall at the left, shaking his head 'no'. He then stood up and walked over to a hanging bar (something he himself had added to the room) and jumped, grabbing it in both hands to prepare for pull-ups.

He looked at the hand for some time, readjusting his hands on the bar nervously, before glancing away again and starting on the next section of his workout without saying a word. I the back of his mind he began to wish the other would just leave him to quiet, anti-social peace.

Louis turned one hand, and then the other, swinging himself to turn backwards and face the wall, trying his hardest to calm his nerves. For one, he never, EVER talked to people, let ALONE extroverts, for another, he didn't even remember how to properly shake hands (have I even shook hands before?), and finally, his vocal chords were dry and brittle; he doubted they would even work anymore.

%Okay, I'm on it. It will be located in the Recreation Center. I think Rocket knows, but if you would like Louis to go incognito, then I can edit that Rocket knows hes a star.

((I'll leave it up to you. His eyes are really the only giveaway, there's a white spot on both irises, but it's up to you if Rocket noticed it, I don't mind one way or another.))

The other man turned his head slightly to catch the other's words, but didn't try to catch a glimpse of him. He tipped his head back for a bit, wondering how to answer that... and shrugged as best he could while hanging from the bar. Well, he knew how old he was... but there's no way for someone as socially anxious as Louis to say aloud.

Scholarship. That sounded good to Louis. Hey, what if this kid was going to the same college he was planning to go? Well, once he had money, that is. He did about ten more chin-ups before dropping to the ground for some tricep pushups. Oh, man, this would be a nice conversation if he could just make his brain and voice work in conjunction.

Louis thought for a long time, then opened his mouth (of course, while facing away from the other), testing his vocal chords: however, he had forgotten just how to use them in both his reclusive, voiceless, and currently nervous state. He shook his head a little, disappointed in his lack of communication.

((Eventually he'll say something... eventually.))

In the meantime, while he worked up the nerve (and vocal muscle) to actually say something, Louis tipped his head back to glance at Rocket (once, and without eye contact) while he was talking, just to keep him going. He curled his hands up and balanced on his knuckles for his next set.

((I'm gonna let Rocket run out of words before Louis talks, though <D))

Louis finished his pushups and rested there, knees on the ground, staring at his hands, before standing up and moving to and arm machine nearby. He sat there and did about ten repetitions before he stopped. For the longest time he just stared at the wall in front of him.

"... uis."

It was the best he could manage.

He lifts a hand to his mouth and clears his throat, and when he speaks again it's quiet and raspy, airy even, but it sounds like it was once strong and powerful. "Louis. Nineteen." And with that he falls silent and continues his workout, avoiding looking at Rocket.

((Lolol Irish accent. Even though I can't type it and you probably can't hear it with that quiet and short a phrase.))
