"Wocky!" I scream happily as he gallops around the playground. "Giddy-yuppy!" Rocky is so nice! I thought happily. Rocky is going to take care of me.

I take a breath, and come to a stop, panting. I bring her over to a bench, and sit her down. You ready to go home sweetie? I ask her putting on a show for the other people in the park, making sure the thought I was her father or brother.

My eyebrows furrowed. "I'm going to live where you live?" I looked up at him pleadingly.

I look at her for a moment wishing I could talk to her telepathicaly. 'Course, muffin. I tell her through strained teeth. This whole, affectionate name calling thing was so new to me. I scoop her light little body up in my arms, and pull on her suite case. I start walking down the street, and trying to think of the best way to get to the Hideout with out making the directions obvious.

I smile happily, my curls falling in my eyes and bouncing as he jogs down the street. "Look," I show him my elbow. "I have a booboo. This scary shadow chased me and I fell and scraped my elbow. It was scary. It grabbed me but then I got really bright and everything was hot and then the shadow-person burned up." I made a sad face. "He turned into a pile of ashes."

I look at her with my deep blue eyes full of concern. Lets just get home and then tell me more ok? I ask her, walking a little faster, but still keeping the carfree face I had perfected. It always fooled people into thinking everything was fine, when really nothing was.

I start. She had seen through my facade of calmness. How powerful was she? I wonder to myself, taking a turn down an alley. I choose not to answer her comment.

I bounce along, nodding again. But everything is a little more blurred than usual. I yawn, close my eyes. I fell asleep, breathing evenly, completely trusting in Wocky and where he was taking me. Then I had a dream......

I was running into a deserted alley I recognized right away. I stopped, breathing raggedly from running. Then there was the pounding of footsteps. I felt dread in my stomach. And it was my birthday, too! How could they chase me on my birthday?
"Wait! It's just a kid." the boy's voice sounded desperate.
"Don't question me!" replied the deeper voice. Then the man grabbed me roughly and pushed me against a wall. I slipped under his arm and ran. "Grab her, boy!" yelled the man. I kept running, straight past the kid, who had dark spiky hair.
"Run," he whispered under his breath. He didn't even lunge at me.
"You will be punished for this!" screeched the man at the boy behind me. "I will tell your father!"
I thought I was free and clear, until I tripped, sprawling across the pavement. The man grabbed my shirt and dragged me across the ground. Then I felt it. Fury. Spreading everywhere, into my face, legs, stomach, arms. I screamed, and the world was fire. There was a pile of ashes where the man had been. I stayed in the alley for more than a week, hiding behind trash cans as I continued to burn. I heard fire truck wails and realized I had set the building behind me on fire.......

I smile as she drifts to sleep, and her small body becomes a little heavier. I make a left turn, go straight for about 3 blocks, and then turn down into a short alley. Cardboard boxes, and pieces of trash litter the ground. At the very last address on the right, is home. The old abandoned jail house. I sigh, and mumble the password softly. Then I take her inside to the Saturn cell, though I knew for now she really should have been in the guest star cell.

% Makin new topic in Saturn cell. I like your dream scene, but don't you think its a little, um how do you say...over powering? Ya know, like making her all powerful?

Kiwi: Sorry, I edited it so that it was her birthday, so she started her transformation right then. She is a daughter of the Sun, but I agree I made her seem really powerful.

% I never said you had to change it, it was fine the way it was. I just was suggesting that it was a little over powering.
