Girl Skater.

I had just showered, and my hair smelled tropical and flowery. I pulled on a pair of short, white gym shorts, and a plain black tank top. I grabbed my skate board with the skeletons, and bright green mist on the bottom. I pulled on my black and baby blue skate shoes and head out the door of my cell. The sound of my wheels rolling across the smooth concrete ramps comforted me. I want candy! I mutter under my breath to the tune of the song that i related to perfectly.

I abruptly stop singing, and look the guy up and down, I come to a stop at the top of a jump with a landing on top, and watch him for a few moments before I begin to skate again.

Hey... I say slowly, thinking that this guy looked tough. He probably had some really sick moves. Maybe he would teach me. I put out a hand to him, and smirk crookedly. I'm Gertie, and you are? I ask him.

Really? I ask him, staring into his eyes trying to pick out a sparkle. If he had been one of Them, I would already have been attacked. Not that it would have been a problem but still.

I cough, and start cracking up. Yeah, you could say that, starchild. I rasp in a extremly creepy voice just to see what the guy would do.

I chuckle That wasn't really what I was going for. I say thinking I did not sound like a KISS fan. Well, as you can see, I was skating. I wont have to worry about dangerous now that you're here, right? I ask him, smiling sweetly and making my purple eyes huge.

I elbow him in the stomach, smirking. Um, a while... I say thinking I actually didn't have much expirence up my sleve, but I was good for a newbie. After all, I had started soon after I had fallen, and that wasn't ages ago.What about you? I ask dropping my board, and rolling it under my foot.

You have been here for six years?? I ask shocked that he would have been here so long and still be living in the ordinary world, not being held captive at the Fortress of Them. Ya know.... I start about to tell him there was a whole Hideout chock-full of us. Well not really that packed but still. I hop on my board, and glide down the ramp. Then I turn back to him, and smirk. Come with me later. I tell him, warming up a bit. Wanna show me what you got, Mr. Six-Year-Skater? I ask daring him to say no.

My jaw droops a little. Damn this guy was good. Huh. He had to teach me. Dude! I say skating over to him slightly envious. You're amazing! I exlaim, smiling. I have to show you something. Come on. I tell him, riding out of the park and heading down the street.

Into the wheels? I ask him slightly raising my eyebrow to the bike and rollerskates. This way. I tell him hoping he would just follow me as I skate down the alley.

Thats good. Cause you rock at it. I say, skating in little wiggly lines.

Shh. You'll see. I tell him hoping I wouldnt have to reveal where we were going in case a Them was lurking near by.
