Only a little strange.

It probably looked a little bit different to most other people, but Lazarus liked to think of incognito star-scouting, which, actually, it was.

Actually, it was a pretty good plan. The more personalities he had out there, the more likely one of them was to catch a Fallen (kind of like the infinite monkeys chained to infinite typewriters: one would eventually produce the entire works of Shakespeare). He had already begun his plan: there was, of course, himself as he usually was, a few different online personalities in various languages, and after tonight, there would be another physical personality.

He'd decided to name it 'Eva Adams'.

It was actually his first time dressing up as a girl, if anyone would believe it, and he thought he was already pretty damn good at it. He didn't really grow any facial hair anyway, and he had a fine-boned frame with slight shoulders and legs: it was as if he was naturally suited to changing his gender on command.

The clothes, too, were no problem. Even being as effeminate as he was, Lazarus knew he still had limitations, and opted to wear a thigh-length sweaterdress (stolen from Alicia's room when she was out) under a thick, rib-length parka (actually his) to hide his broader chest. For his thin legs he chose a pair of leggings, which weren't too different from the skinny jeans he usually wore, and a set of beautiful, knee length heels, both which were borrowed from a maid after a little... convincing.

His only hinderance, one that he couldn't fix, was his height: with the heels on he was now a few inches over six feet. All the rest he had taken care of: stolen makeup to conceal his dark eyes and pronounce his thin lips, and a little teasing to change his hair from straw to slightly-less-straw. Nobody's perfect.

He decided to leave well enough alone and left the Fortress for the Night Club, legs forced into a more female walking pattern by the heels. The place was dark, thankfully, when he entered, and he let a smile cross his face.

Lazarus could take a break. It was Eva's turn to have a little fun today.

}I was going through my characters, and I decided on Roxy because I haven't done any good roleplaying with her lately. Mmm. I suppose I will follow your lead with the persons thing.

Roxy wondered why she was at a club anyway. Some friends had dragged her there for a night out. They said she needed one, it had been such a long time since she'd "let go" and had fun. Other matters had been holding her attention these past few months. Sometimes they rarely saw her, and this was why she had consented. Because, after all, in their eyes she was a normal human girl who needed a night of fun once in a few moons.

What Roxy hadn't anticipated was the preparation. The night started at five pm at Stacy's house. First came the outfits. It seemed there were thousands in the giant walk in closet, and soon they were strewn on the floor and down the hall. Every single outfit had to be approved by the rest before they could proceed. Dinner was next, at a small bistro downtown. And then they crowded in the bistro's bathroom, hastily re-applying lipstick and tousling hair. Finally someone announced the time was nine, and if they didn't get to the club in thirty minutes all the hotties would be taken. A crowded ride in Maria's convertible followed. When they arrived, the others hustled inside, leaving Roxy behind to retie the laces of her high heeled boots.

When she entered, her friends were nowhere to be seen. Probably making out with a new found beau. And that was why she was wondering she was there. The darkness inside, the flashing lights and the writhing bodies...

It made her feel nervous.
