| THE GREAT (EPIC, MARVELOUS) SHOE WAR
The kind of shoes you wear give others a glance into your soul. In the Shoe War, we vote on which pair of shoes best describes a character.
Rules: Pick any character. Find at least two pairs of shoes on the internet, at the most five. Post them along with a poll, and battle against others to find which shoe truly represents that person. And there aren't any restraints on what kind of shoe can signify a character. (You can have a stiletto for a guy character, etc.)
Let the battle commence!

Below, Monster has offered a prize to the winning shoes. I suggest putting an end date to your poll, and the shoe with the most votes wins!
Other ways you could do it would be 'First shoe to reach ten votes' etc. but the end date works smoothly. If those of you could edit your shoe wars, adding an end date, that would be great.

THE INCENTIVE THREAD
Once a topic has all the votes it can get, it's time to reap the spoils of war.
The winning shoe for any one character will get a prize.
To celebrate this entirely silly contest, I am going to illustrate the winning shoe with the character, along with an outfit built around the shoe. OPTIONAL: The creator of the character can suggest a song to also be used in the winner's trophy (but it should either be relative to the shoe or the character, nothing random please.)
That's my incentive for this contest. Anyone else who wants to make prizes for the winning shoes can, it's open. If you wish to make incentive trophies, please post in this topic with your incentive, terms, and prizes (if you only want to do weird shoes, will only do short writing, or only the first few winning shoes, et cetera)
THE CONDITIONS OF WINNING
are yet to be decided.
For the time being, though, it's likely that votes will be counted for the number of active members we have. Unless Kiwi decides she wants timed contests or something.
My incentive trophies will be posted both here and in my art thread. If you are making your own incentives, you are free to post here or in another thread. You can even make your trophies private, to only the owner of the character, if you like (but that's just no fun).
